This year’s Gloucester History Festival will be a virtual event, and I’m happy to say that I will be giving one of the Blackfriars talks. I’ll be speaking on Monday 14 September at 6pm, on the subject of ‘Louis: England’s Forgotten King’.
Obviously, this will be a different experience from speaking to a live audience in the wonderful Blackfriars venue, but let’s focus on the positives: you can attend the talk even if you’re nowhere near Gloucester, and you can do so from the comfort of your own home, with a cup of tea or a glass of something to hand.
All the Blackfriars talks are FREE. The full programme is available on the Festival website at https://www.gloucesterhistoryfestival.co.uk/blackfriars-talks/
